About the project
The APAP Academy corporate website is an information platform for prospective students, current students, and university staff. The project focused on redesigning the existing website and simplifying access to a large amount of educational information.
The main goal was to create a modern, accessible interface where users could quickly find academic programs, admission requirements, schedules, news, announcements, and information about the university.
What I worked on
I began by analyzing the existing website and studying digital platforms from other universities. This revealed the main issues: complex navigation, overloaded pages, inconsistent content structure, and an outdated visual style.
To better understand the needs of the primary audience, I created a user persona and mapped the prospective student journey—from choosing a university and exploring programs to reviewing admission requirements and making an enrollment decision.
Based on the research, I developed a new sitemap, revised the information architecture, and prepared sketches and wireframes for key journeys. I then created a reusable component system and detailed interface concepts in Figma.
My approach
The design centered on the core tasks of prospective and current students. Related information was grouped into clear sections, important content became accessible in fewer steps, and navigation became more consistent and predictable.
Moving gradually from research and early prototypes to a design system and final layouts helped create a cohesive website concept in which university information is easier to find, understand, and maintain.
